How does payroll deduction work?

Paycheck Works gives employees the opportunity to purchase the latest name brand products like computers, electronics, home appliances and furniture through payroll. Participants make manageable payments with no ballooning interest or hidden fees. And, unlike layaway, they receive their merchandise just a few days after the order is placed.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible to purchase with Payroll Deduction, you need to be:

  • Actively maintain full-time employment
  • Be able to demonstrate six months of employment history with your employer
  • Be 18 years or older

How long will it take to receive my items?

Delivery is usually made within 3-5 business days of receiving tracking information and, depending on your location! Please follow the tracking information so that you know when your item will arrive.

For larger items (i.e., Larger TV’s, furniture or large appliances), delivery is usually made via freight carriers. Similar to normal tracking you will receive a tracking number but the freight company will call you to schedule delivery. Do not sign for the delivery unless you inspect the entire order for any damage. Any damage after the release of the delivery will be your responsibility.

What carrier do you use for shipping?

Your item(s) may ship in different boxes, from different locations, and through different carriers! Most often, your packages will be delivered via UPS, USPS, or FedEx!* For larger items (i.e., furniture or large appliances), a freight carrier will be used for delivery & assembly.

Please note that we do not offer expedited or express shipping for any item at this time. Also, some carriers require a signature upon delivery.

I received some of my items. Where are the rest?

We ship from several different locations, so your order may arrive on different days and in multiple boxes.

We will email you on the day of shipment with the carrier name(s) and tracking number(s).

What do I do on Returns and Exchanges?

To request an exchange, please contact the Operations Team upon receiving your item.

Please be aware that items requested for exchange must meet the guidelines for an accepted return.

Please note Paycheck Works is not responsible for return shipping costs.

What happens if I change jobs or get injured?

If you anticipate any changes affecting your payments such as a job change or an event that keeps you out of work, please contact the Operations Team as soon as possible. We encourage you to be proactive to ensure your account remains in good standing.
